The Nottingham University in China is the right place

Course: International Communications with Chinese 

To me the Nottingham University in China is the right place to improve my Chinese and English at the same time by communicating with Chinese and International students together. Studying abroad at the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China, is a great chance to experience both western and eastern cultures. What is more impressive, all degree courses are conducted entirely in English with the same teaching and evaluation standards as in the University of Nottingham UK.

I’m majoring in International Communications with Chinese language and I think this degree is highly relevant in a world currently facing the challenges and opportunities brought about by rapid technological change and growing internationalisation. The BA International Communication Studies degree provides me with an opportunity to study a wide range of subjects including; contemporary mass media, journalism, new digital communications, the history of European, American and East-Asian societies, communications theory, the psychology of communications, arts and communications and cultural studies. There is also a large variety of optional modules offered on the International Business and International Studies degrees which is a great way to explore other areas which interest you and personalise your degree.

In the long term I’m interested in Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing and I know my degree has given me a good start.
